Peter grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin. Peter eventually transitioned his life to attend a Seminary program from 1986-1994. In College, He earned both Philosophy and a Classical Languages Bachelor of Arts degrees. Later, Peter joined the Navy and completed his service with just over 20 years. While in the Navy, Peter studied nuclear propulsion engineering and served on 3 Nuclear Powered Aircraft carriers and also qualified as a nuclear power instructor helping pass the torch to other sailors. Peter currently resides in Hampton Roads, Virginia USA and is married and has 5 children while working at a local military base housing as a maintenance technician. Wolf Whiskers is currently just a part time hobby during the weekends.
Peter has always been involved in some fashion using his artistic skills. He has had success with wood working projects since age 13. From age 16 till age 34, he enjoyed fabricating multiple genuine stained glass projects including small and large windows, light catchers, candle holders, lampshades, kaleidoscopes, and custom designed jewelry boxes. His fascination for color, creativity and style along with his love for working with his hands inspired him to begin turning on a lathe. He studied the process of creating his own Polyester Resin turning blanks. This opened up a new avenue for enjoyment and creative license.
Wolf Whiskers now primarily turns custom shaving brushes. The high touch approach toward customer service has set Wolf Whiskers brushes apart from so many others.
